Embracing Nature @ Sydney Weddings, Centennial Park

Blair + Kieran

Blair and Kieran chose the serene beauty of Centennial Parklands in Sydney, with its iconic row of paperbark trees, as the setting for their breathtaking wedding ceremony. It is a great choice for couples looking for garden weddings in Sydney, and is less than 5kms from the Sydney, CBD.

At Honey Lane, we work closely with our couples to uncover their personal style, exploring their tastes in fashion, art, interior design, and other aspects of their lives to understand their aesthetic vibe. We consider their favourite colours, patterns, textures, and themes to create a mood board that truly reflects their unique style.

The Honey Lane styling team collaborated closely with Blair and Kieran to select a colour palette of white, cream, light peach, terracotta, and a sophisticated olive green, culminating in the perfect "embrace of nature" theme.

The florals were truly exceptional and played a prominent role in the day's aesthetic. Our florist, White House Flowers, and styling team worked tirelessly to produce a stunning display of natural beauty that perfectly embodied our vision. The terracotta-coloured roses used throughout the ceremony arrangements were particularly breathtaking, creating a captivating frame for the ceremony location. Hinting at the magic that was about to unfold, an imposing circular arch adorned with wild foliage and perfectly clustered blooms created an incredible focal point for the exchanging of vows.

Centennial Park Weddings provide the unique opportunity to have the ceremony and reception in the one location. Blair and Kieran’s cocktails went off without a hitch, with the reception kicking off on the nearby grounds of the Centennial Homestead building. Guests mingled and enjoyed lawn games such as giant wooden Jenga, chess, quoits, and skittles, adding a fun and light-hearted mood to the wedding day.

Flowing seamlessly from the ceremony to the reception, our styling team expertly brought the outside in, continuing the colour palette with warm wooden accents that beautifully complemented the venue.

With exquisite catering, fine wines, love, and good friends, our clients are often surprised at just how much fun they are able to have on their wedding day! We take this as the greatest compliment of a job well done. And while we tend to focus a lot on the styling aspects of our weddings (it's hard not to when they are so incredible!), equal credit needs to be given to the planners and producers of Honey Lane Weddings, who are the true puppet masters behind each of our weddings.

Planning a Sydney wedding typically requires around 250 hours of effort, and with busy modern-day couples juggling various responsibilities, time is precious.
That's where Honey Lane Weddings comes in - we take care of both the planning and styling in the one place, allowing you to sail through the process and focus on the fun and exciting aspects of your big day!

If you’re looking for where to get married in Sydney, Centennial Park Weddings and the adjacent Centennial Homestead venue, is a fabulous choice!
