Black and White Wedding with a Festival Vibe!
As our gorgeous couple John and Michael tied the knot at Redleaf in Wollombi, it’s safe to say that monochrome never looked so good!
This smoking hot pair were such fun throughout the styling process and we made it our mission to sprinkle this sense of joy and excitement throughout their wedding day, creating a relaxed luxe atmosphere with the festival vibes they love!
As our Honey Lane team began set up on the morning of the wedding the rain poured down and forecast was not looking good.
With some quick thinking of our feet we moved the pre-ceremony drinks under the cover of the venue’s ‘pizza kitchen’ building and we had guest umbrellas at the ready.
Even Glastonbury has wet weather, right?!
Yet as the first buses rolled down the long driveway the clouds parted and the sun began to shine. It was meant to be!
Flanked by their bridal party of 8 gorgeous women all dressed in white, the grooms took their places in front of the iconic Redleaf villa and their ceremony began. A few tears and plenty of laughs later, it was official!
We knew as soon as we met this chic couple that they liked to party and an Aperol cart during cocktail hour was the perfect way to add a sense of theatre to the afternoon and well and truly put their personal touch on the day.
Our styling had a distinctly Hamptons vibe with rattan and white furniture providing the ideal spot for guests to relax in the afternoon sun. Different ‘zones’ including an oyster bar, grazing station and lawn games further added to the fun, festival atmosphere!
As the sun went down the celebrations moved to a round sperry tent on the venue’s front lawn where the atmosphere went up a gear.
With their incredible three tiered cake cut, the drinking and dancing resumed, as celebrations stretching into the small hours!
