Who’s ready?! Less than 4 Weeks to go!

Have you been looking for the perfect way to spice up your Christmas table styling? Look no further! We joined up with Felicity from Ink Spiller Home to create styled tables that stay away from the traditional red and greens of Christmas and instead focuses on creating an edgy and contemporary look for your festive season.

Whether you’re getting ready for a break or are just ramping up the workload, believe it or not it is less than four weeks until Christmas! As the silly season is upon us, it’s time to reflect on where the year has taken us individually and how we wish to spend the holidays.

While it’s been a tough year for everyone, Christmas will always remain a time we can come together so why wouldn’t you want to change up your home Christmas looks to make it extra special for your loved ones?

We believe creating a new, exciting Christmas look can be as easy as adding some new napery! You may be wondering what is that? Or how it can change the look of a table? Well we are here to help you! Those of you that follow us on social media you know we love a napkin! And we love it styled every way to help create the perfect ambiance for events! It can completely change a table setting and elevate the table look to have your guests talking about it until the new year! Felicity’s napkins not only work as a set with the tablecloth but can also be added to a white setting to give your table more depth.

The team have created four different but beautiful looks for you to choose from using the variety of prints by Ink Spiller Home. Each have a different focus in an attempt to capture the different ways we celebrate Christmas, whether you prefer individual roast dinners, shared plates or a seafood fiesta! While you may think all these looks would take so long to create you could not be more wrong, they use easy styling concepts you can do with everything in your Christmas cupboard.

ITS SO MERRY PALMING…

This first look uses the Palm Mustard napkin and tablecloth. Its fresh, it’s fun and its inviting! We have not used any florals, only gold tapered candles and simple Christmas decorations to allow the napkins and the crystal-cut look to shine by itself.

While we did style the table with gold cutlery, the look works perfectly with simple silver crockery set that everyone is likely to have in their home. In this look we have doubled up the plates, we know what you’re thinking… Why? This is for the al-a-carte lovers who want their guests to have a full dining experience in the comfort of their own home.

Did someone say dessert…? It gives your table a layered and functional feel that makes your life easier when serving your homemade treats at each meal. Here in Australia we are blessed with amazing weather around Christmas and this look is perfect for your indoor and outdoor settings to create a fun, relaxed and classy themed day! Pop the bubbles ladies!

THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT IS TEAL…

More is… MORE! We love the look of the Aster teal print; we have paired it with silver cutlery and white plates for an easy go to look. And who doesn’t love a cheese platter? Yes, we are looking at you share plate fanatics!

After being so restricted this year, we felt like letting loose on this look, we filled the tables with greenery, candles and a beautiful vibrant platter to bring the look to life! This look also has a layered effect with the napkin in-between two simple everyday white plates for sharing one or six dishes with your nearest and dearest. Not only can you create this look with a cheese platter but also seafood platters and of course the traditional Christmas or Boxing day BBQ! We will be kicking back with our families with an Aperol to add another pop of colour!

PINK IS THE NEW RED AND GREEN...

If you are tired of your reds, green and golds for your Christmas table and wanting something new and exciting then this is the look for you! Pink is not normally your traditional colour but after table styling with Ink Spiller Home’s Terrazzo blush napkin we fell in love! The table came together easily by throwing on some simple florals and Christmas tree decorations to give the look a fun and festive feel to it.

The large white charger plate we used is perfect for the degustation entertainers, its beautifully presented with a napkin and menu but also makes your life easier when serving up the smaller plates on top. While we did use copper cutlery and pink glasses, we have no doubt the table would have looked just as beautiful with simple silver crockery and delicate glass tumblers.

YOU ALL NOEL THE FLORA BLUEWATER...

She’s dark, she’s moody and she’s beautiful. It’s our last Christmas table look, and we think it could be the best yet. We made this look dramatic and full, just as Christmas should be, right?

To compliment the smokey blue tones of the Flora Bluewater tablecloth, we added a grazing platter, dark double plates, gold cutlery and a lot of different style candles to make this baby shine! This is perfect for your late afternoon Christmas vibes, as the sun starts to set the candles are really going to leave your guests feeling warm and cosy. In contrast to our other teal tablecloth less is more with this look, a simple bottle of your best red and a sprig of holly will have the whole family feeling their festive best.

FILL THE CHRISTMAS STOCKING...

Did you see all the looks and love them but already own a plain white tablecloth? Wondering if you can create these looks using that? The answer is YES! Felicity created this napkin and tablecloth range with just that idea in her head, she wanted something beautiful paired together but also could shine bright on its own! All the napkins in Ink Spiller Home’s line of napery can be used to add an extra pop of colour to your Christmas table! We tried it and it works! Every napkin looked just as good with silver cutlery and a white plate; the perfect Christmas style look is just a few napkins away!
