Living in Melbourne, Michelle and Dahne wanted to wow their family and friends with a Sydney, harbourside wedding. The couple had planned a surprise reception for their guests, whom were told to meet for their ceremony at Hickson Reserve.
After the ceremony, the guests toasted with champagne as they tucked in to the cheese grazing station. They then continued their cocktail hour in the incredible, Park Hyatt Hotel before being guided outside to the wharf where they were met by the AQA Superyacht and our two of our team members with a welcome sign and some heel stoppers, for the ladies.
All the Melbourne guests were very excited to jump aboard the love boat for the wedding reception. This stunning superyacht travelled around Sydney Harbour in the afternoon all the way in to the night, showing off the best parts of Sydney (talk about a tour)!
The styling for their wedding was a modern urban look with added pops of colour. We wanted to pay tribute to the classic nautical colours with their navy signage against the white ceremony arch and seating. We also introduced the modern tones of copper along with some fun, bright colours in their flowers.
We added small touches to the boat to make it that extra bit special such as: colourful cushions and blankets, scattered candles, bright florals by Sweet Pea and Honey Bee, an interactive photo-booth guestbook and a spectacular wedding cake created by Unbirthday Bakery.
Thank you to their photographer, Thomas Stewart, who was kind enough to share some beautiful shots of Michelle and Dahne’s Wedding Day.
