Anju and Lindley celebrated their second wedding at Jonahs in Whale Beach, on the 6th of February 2016. The style was opulent and exotic, with bohemian inspired elements from Morocco to India, mixed with the elegant structures of crystal cut vases/glassware and the clean lines that the modern venue provided.
The colour inspiration was stimulated from the couple’s heritage. Their florist Bec, layered bright magenta’s, deep reds, rich plums, soft pink flowers and luscious greenery throughout their reception. Although, the colour palate didn’t stop there! Stunning ocean views surround the venue, so we softly introduced blues into the tablescape in the reflection of their menu’s, name tags and signage throughout the venue. To pay tribute and highlight their culture, we brought in a lot of gold and brassy elements in, such as: gold-rimmed charger plates, gold cutlery, our brass candlesticks and our copper tea light votives. This really completed and tied in their polished, vintage, eclectic theme beautifully.
The WOW doesn’t stop there, as the couple brought their guests on to the dance floor, they had a stunning and cascading floral instillation suspended on a ceiling beam. Not to mention their bronzed dipped, hanging wedding cake! Bec did a stunning floral instillation around the cake to make it look like it was effortlessly floating on a floral swing!
To finish off the night, guests took home test tube wedding favours filled with fruity green tea blends- yum! It was a perfect send off to their guests who experienced a wedding that had an infusion of flavours, colours and style.
