Pantone Colours of the Year for 2016: Rose Quartz & Serenity

As wedding and event stylists, we are always on the look out for inspiration and looking for future wedding trends. With Pantone announcing it's two colours of the year as Rose Quartz and Serenity, we are certain that these two beautiful colours are going to be on wedding trend this year.

Rose Quartz is that soft blushing pink that we all love and often see in weddings and especially wedding flowers. We all love the different shades of pink; soft, dark, hot and peach. You can’t go wrong with Pink for a wedding and we love seeing Rose Quartz being paired up with all tones of gold: copper, bronze, rose gold and bright gold.

Serenity is that perfect blend of dusty blue meets indigo. It has the slightest touch of purple but there’s no denying it’s blue heritage. Something old, something new, something borrowed and something...Serenity blue! We adore this shade and think it could be the new shade of blue all the brides begin incorporating into their weddings as it represents old traditions and new. We also love seeing Serenity being paired with all tones of gold but it also looks very beautiful next to grey (light or dark) and it pops when it’s paired with anything white.

So to all the brides to be out there, please keep our new colours of the year Rose Quartz and Serenity in mind when you think about the overall style and colour palate of your wedding, you can add it in your stationary (wedding invitations, menus etc), table setting, flowers or even in your and your bridesmaids nail polish. Here are some images we found on Pinterest to get you as excited about this new trend as we are!
