One of the highlights for us when styling weddings is meeting with our bride and grooms, hearing their styling vision and then picturing how we are going to turn their words into a picturesque tablescape. Your table settings play a major role in the overall styling of your wedding, so here are a few styling tips that come to mind under the themes of: Woodlands, Rustic Elegance and Vintage Boho.
Woodlands
We Like:
Exposed wooden tables
No tablecloths, maybe a table runner that’s lace or natural in colour
Green foliage runner with or without florals, pine cone details
OR moss like greenery around floral centerpieces
Timber slices to create height (layered textures)
Glass jar candle votives
Napkins placed in the middle of the place setting, with the place tag wrapped around it.
Individual napkins and a sprig of green herb detail to be placed on top of the napkin.
Minimal cutlery and glassware

Rustic Elegance
We Like:
Tablecloth or Semi exposed (using a table runner) tables
Green and floral foliage runner
OR floral centerpieces that are wildly structured
Tall candles placed in candlesticks OR Tall pillar candles on candle sticks
Short votive candle holders (glass, brass, white or an off-white)
Charger plates with individual menus placed on top
Tent name cards placed above place setting
Formal cutlery setting, napkin sitting under the cutlery and multiple glassware

Vintage Boho
We like:
Off-white tablecloth with a lace detail or distressed, vintage looking wodden tables (whitewash effect)
Clusters of bud vases/different jar vases with mix-matched florals
Tall candles placed in brass candlesticks and mix-matched, vintage inspired tea light candle votives (creating different heights)
Each charger plate to be vintage inspired and to mis-match
Menus displayed near the tables on a chalkboard or wooden board.
Name tags tied to the wedding favours either on or above the plate
Minimal glassware and cutlery. Crystal cut glasswear in bright colours.
