Modern Romance meets Understated Elegance for Mandy + Damian’s Oceanside Wedding.
It was a race against the weather for Mandy + Damian’s outdoor ceremony but despite the dire storm warnings, the day came together perfectly for these two love birds!
Their vision for the day was ‘contemporary, clean and minimalist’, and we worked together with florist Jess from Sweet Pea and Honey Bee throughout the styling process, to create a day that was beautifully elegant but relaxed and fun for both the couple and their guests.
With family and friends flying in from around the world, the stunning ocean views at Jonah’s Whale Beach didn’t fail to impress, providing the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony.
Shying away from a traditional timber arch, Mandy wanted something asymmetrical and organic to frame them as they exchanged their vows. With a mix of dried florals, roses, anthuriums and orchids, their rose gold floral totems certainly fit the bill!
Following the ceremony, it was time to get the party started with drinks and canapes on the balcony over looking the water.
From our first styling consultation we loved Mandy’s colour palette of dusty pink, latte and white and worked rose gold accents into their signage and table styling to create the neutral yet feminine look she loves.
As guests moved into the main reception dining room, stunning structured floral centrepieces took pride of place on guest tables with rose gold cutlery and touches of blush in the form of napkin ribbons and place cards, tying the look together.
It was an absolute joy working with Mandy + Damian to bring their styling dreams to life and wish them all the best for their new lives together!
