Let’s reimagine your Wedding!
When the lovely and ever so friendly Olivia and Simon stepped through our doors, their calm and gentle personalities shone through.
The couple wanted a wedding with all of the embellishments, but on a much smaller scale. So, it was important for them that we created an informal and relaxed intimate gathering with only 30 of their closest friends and family (30 is the new 80 ... right??)
Shrinking your wedding to a cosy, intimate size guarantees you’ll love where your money goes, and no doubt you will create the best of memories with every single guest attending, given the size. But for Olivia and Simon, there was more to it than a decrease in their guest numbers. What this meant was, a proportionally larger budget to work with (hooray!), and that they did!
Choosing to have a smaller wedding allowed Olivia and Simon to focus more on the finer details. Not having to withhold due to budget or time constraints means your wedding may actually turn out like that secret Pinterest board you’ve been obsessing over since before you got engaged (It’s ok, we all do it!)
Although, just because you have a smaller wedding does not mean that you still can’t celebrate with your extended friends and family.
Why not make it a 1-month affair, and create a few casual celebrations at a local bar, restaurant or even your backyard that may only take a few emails back and forward to plan.
This way you will still get to see everyone you love in some capacity. Not having everything over and done with in one night also means you’re less likely to get those post-wedding blues. You can in fact have your (wedding) cake and eat it too!
